Review the User Account Activity Log

Proliance maintains a log of key information about user accounts, including such things as changes to passwords, failed log in attempts, and account lockouts. System auditors can use this information to look for patterns that may indicate a breach of security. This information is available using the VS_UserAccountEventLog DB View.

The VS_UserAccountEventLog DB View displays the following activity:

• Logins
• Failed login attempts
• Password changes
• Creating accounts
• Editing accounts
• Renaming accounts
• Deleting accounts
• Unlocking accounts
• Locking accounts after failed login attempts
• Locking accounts manually
• Locking accounts after password grace periods have expired
• Locking accounts temporarily
